1. Parties and formation of the contract
This contract is between Cekci Lab Teknoloji Limited Şirketi, which provides the service, and the user who opens the account. It is formed the moment you tick the terms of service box on the sign-up form and create your account. Your approval is recorded with a version number and a timestamp.
2. What the service is
WarmBreak is an event platform. Event registration, attendee and speaker lists, the agenda, pre-event meeting requests, QR check-in and introductions, the card wallet and event recommendations are all provided through it.
Only an organiser acting on behalf of an organisation can create an event. An ordinary user cannot publish another organisation’s event; organisational identity cannot be impersonated.
3. Accounts and the age limit
We do not collect your date of birth; you declare that you meet the age limit when you create the account. When we learn of an account that does not meet the limit we close it and delete the data.
- You open your account under your real identity; accounts in someone else’s name or under a false identity are not allowed.
- Your password and sign-in codes are yours; you do not share them.
- You are responsible for what happens through your account. If you notice unauthorised access, tell us at support@warmbreak.com.
- One person opens one account; multiple accounts for the same person may count as misuse of the service.
4. Your obligations
- You do not use the platform unlawfully, for harassment, spam or bulk data collection.
- You do not scrape attendee lists or business cards, and you do not pass those lists to third parties.
- You do not upload or share another person’s personal data without their permission.
- You confirm that you hold the rights to the images you upload and the text you write.
- You do not attempt to bypass security measures, reverse engineer the system or disrupt the service.
Where these obligations are breached, your account may be suspended without prior warning; in serious cases the contract may be terminated.
5. Events and organisers
- Every event is created under an organisation; the organiser is responsible for its content and for its commitments to its own attendees.
- An organiser may use the attendee list only to run that event; taking the list out of the platform or using it for marketing is prohibited.
- An attendee who registers for an event appears on that event’s attendee list. The list is open only to people registered for that event, is never opened to search engines and carries no contact details. To leave the list, the attendee cancels their registration.
- Cancellation and changes of date or venue are the organiser’s responsibility and are notified to registered attendees.
- Invite-only events are closed to search engines and discovery; the platform does not disclose their existence.
6. Introductions and card exchange
Once an exchange completes, a snapshot of your card at that moment remains in the other person’s wallet. Updating your card later, or deleting your account, does not retroactively remove that copy. It is now their data. Notes you write about people are yours alone and are never shown to the other person.
7. Fees
Using the platform as an attendee is free, and the card wallet is free and unlimited. When paid organiser packages and the sponsor module launch, their pricing, cancellation and refund terms will be provided in a separate agreement and presented for your approval before purchase.
8. Intellectual property
The software, design, brand and content of the platform belong to Cekci Lab Teknoloji Limited Şirketi. You keep the rights to the content you upload and grant us only a limited, non-transferable licence to display, store and resize it as needed to run the service. That licence ends when you delete your account.
9. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time without giving a reason. After a deletion request the account is suspended and you can cancel the request for 14 days; once that window closes the data is irreversibly deleted or anonymised. The details are on the Account Deletion page.
We may suspend your account or terminate the contract where these terms are breached, where use is unlawful, or where the safety of other users requires it. You are told the reason for a suspension and may object to it.
10. Limits of liability
The platform is not a party to the relationships users form with each other; we are not responsible for event content, for organisers’ commitments, or for the accuracy of the information users give one another. The service is provided “as is”; uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed, though planned maintenance is announced in advance.
Mandatory provisions of law are reserved: damage arising from our intent or gross negligence, and the rights granted to you by consumer legislation, cannot be limited by this section.
11. Disputes and changes
Turkish law applies to this contract. The courts and enforcement offices of İzmir have jurisdiction over disputes; if you act as a consumer, your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is reserved.
When the terms change the version number increases and you are informed before the change takes effect. If you do not accept the new version you may end the contract by deleting your account. Write to support@warmbreak.com with any questions.
