Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account whenever you want; you do not need our permission, an e-mail exchange with support or a reason. This page explains exactly what deletion removes and how long it takes.

If you cannot reach the app

If your phone is not with you or you have uninstalled the app, you can request deletion by e-mail.

Send your request tosupport@warmbreak.comIt has to come from the e-mail address on your account. We send a verification link to that address to confirm your identity.

What happens after a deletion request

Day 0Request received
Your account is suspended. You cannot sign in, your profile leaves attendee lists and search, and nobody can send you a meeting request.
Days 0–14Cancellation window
If you change your mind you can cancel with one click from the link in your e-mail. This window protects your account against accidental or malicious deletion.

Day 14Permanent deletion
Data is irreversibly deleted or anonymised. There is no going back after this step; you can sign up again with the same e-mail, but your old data will not return.

What is deleted and what stays

Deleted

Your name, e-mail address and password
Your business cards, including phone, title, company, industry, education and social addresses
Your profile photo and the images you uploaded
The notes you wrote about people
Your meeting requests and messages
Your sessions and device push tokens
Your saved card wallet

Anonymised

The link to your identity is severed and only a number remains, which cannot be traced back to you.

Event attendance counts, so the organizer report stays intact
Encounter statistics
The actions recorded in audit logs

Kept

Only the records the law requires us to keep, and only for as long as the law says.

Consent records, because of the statutory burden of proof
Invoicing and accounting records if any, for 5 years under Tax Procedure Law art. 253
Traffic and transaction security logs, for 2 years under Law No. 5651

These records are used for no other purpose and are deleted automatically once the period ends.

Before you delete, download your data

Your business cards, encounters and event history can be exported as CSV and vCard. Your data is never held hostage; that is one of the product’s red lines.

Frequently asked

If I uninstall the app, is my account deleted?No. Uninstalling does not delete data; you need to send a deletion request through one of the routes on this page.

Do the cards I exchanged stay with the other person?A snapshot of your card at the moment you shared it stays in their wallet, and that copy is now their data. Your card stops updating and your profile is unlinked.

What happens to my events if I am an organizer?If you are the only admin of the organization you are asked to hand it over before deletion, so attendees are never left with an ownerless event.

I want it deleted before the waiting period ends.Send a request under Article 11; once we confirm your identity we delete it with no waiting period.
